iPhone Stacks – Mobile Stacks
I saw a video on Youtube about iPhone stacks and did a quick Google search to see where I could get them for myself.
Turns out it is a Google Code project called Mobile Stacks. It is not released to production yet, but the little bit I’ve been playing with it, it seems pretty good.
Some quarks include static set of icons in the stack, not easy to modify or change. The stacks show up on top of the other applications you open, until that application is fully open, then it goes behind. It covers the fourth icon on the iPhone dock, so I had to use SMBprefs to rearrange the icons so the iPod icon wasn’t covered up. I moved the Mail icon in that place because Mail is one of the Stacked icons.
You can tell the stacks to display curved or not. The screenshot below is curved, obviously. Hopefully it will be much better once released, but its fun to mess around with…
