Turkey Day Recap
Dec 1st
It was a very nice Thanksgiving this year. Family from Indiana (Dad, Levi, Logan, Roseanne) came up to visit, Jen’s family (Dad, Julie, Cassidy) were in attendance. Jen and myself were obviously there. Dinner was hosted at Mom’s house as is becoming tradition now.
After we all enjoyed the lovely meal prepared by Jen and Mom, we played with the kids, watched some football and enjoyed each other’s company.
Here are some photos from the weekend… Lizzy in her turkey hat, Sam and Lizzy posing for a picture and the next four pictures are Levi and Logan riding the mopeds around the yard. I especially like Logan’s choice of scooters. :-)
Until next year… Happy Thanksgiving…

Camping with Sam
Aug 8th
Sam has been talking about camping all summer, we’ve driven by a lot of camp grounds and he always says he wants to go camping. Tonight (08/08/2009) we setup the tent in the back yard, made a camp fire, ate smores and camped out.
Sam was so excited about the opportunity to sleep in a tent, it was very cute. We gathered up our flashlights, bottles of water, iPhone (equipped with the Sprout Player for nighttime Sprout shows) and all our sleeping bags, pillows and sleeping gear and headed out to the tent.
After a couple hours of camping fun, it began to thunder and get pretty scary out, so we checked the weather (the weather channel iPhone app) and indeed, rain was 30 minutes away. We packed up our stuff and headed inside. Sam was very cool about coming inside. The thunder was enough of an incentive for him to want to go in the house.
This is a picture shortly after entering the tent.
